Inspiration
The idea for Magic Parliament Mysteries came about because I desperately wanted to read the stylish Golden Age Mystery novels of the 1930s, but without the discriminatory language and attitudes. Plus, I wanted magic! Everything is better with magic.
The Caldryn Parliament series is for anyone who ever wondered what happened AFTER characters graduated from a magic school or college.
The Realm also features science fiction elements. So, if your life is incomplete without space pirates, stay tuned!

Situated adjacent to Caldryn Parliament, the Portal is one of the oldest structures in Forum City, the multi-planetary Realm’s capital city.
For a fee (an exorbitant one) the Realm’s elite can walk from one remote site to another, crossing the Myst in seven terrifying steps. Portalists are the witches who make it happen.
