Senior university staff collaborate with the corporate world on a number of projects, and are constantly seeking funding. You’ll find a surprising number of business suits in Toady’s being wined more than dined.
Trivia nights are a semi-regular occurrence, sometimes themed for generalist enjoyment. Perhaps costumed. But often for individual schools at the university to show off. So, you’ll have ancient history nights, live music guess-that-tune nights, engineering challenges, and similar.
Toady’s never closes, and odd conversations between disparate strangers are less rare than you might think.
