Landry Alsop is the uncle of Vanda’s best friend, Maisie Alsop. He’s known Vanda since she was an awkward teenager. To him, she’s family, and Landry has no limits on what he’ll do for family.
A famous explorer, Landry is also a professor of thaumabotany, the study of magical flora.
As well as numerous articles and contributing to popular documentaries, Landry is the author of two definitive books on thaumabotany. He is currently working on a third. The working title is Suck It Up: The Need to Preserve the Thaumivorous Floral Parasites of the Realm. There’s a reason his editor names his books!
